Short answer
Yurtiçi Kargo Shopify integration means Shopify orders are sent to Yurtiçi Kargo as shipments automatically, barcodes and labels are printed from Shopify, the tracking number is written to the order’s fulfillment, and delivery, collection and return data flow back to the order. Shopify becomes the single source for orders and stock; manual shipment entry on the Yurtiçi side disappears.
The prerequisite is a contract with Yurtiçi Kargo and its web service credentials. Services such as cash on delivery and Kolay İade (easy returns) require separate agreements. You can go live in a few days with an App Store app and in 3–6 weeks with a custom build.

How is the data flow between Yurtiçi Kargo and Shopify set up?
The data flow is tied to order events in Shopify: when an order is ready to ship, a shipment is opened at Yurtiçi, the tracking code Yurtiçi generates returns to Shopify, and shipment movements are queried periodically and written to the order. For the overall architecture and choosing a carrier, see our Shopify shipping integration guide.
Event in Shopify | What happens at Yurtiçi Kargo | Effect on the customer |
|---|---|---|
Order confirmed, fulfillment order open | Shipment record and barcode are created | No notification yet |
Parcel packed, label printed | Shipment is handed to the courier or branch | Shipping email with tracking number |
Shipment in transit, out for delivery | Shipment movements are queried | Status update (if the integration sends it) |
Delivered | Delivery data and any collection | Order is completed |
Return request | Return shipment with a Kolay İade code | Customer drops the item at a point |
Shopify’s list of tracking companies includes “Yurtiçi Kargo” for stores in Turkey, which makes the tracking number clickable. However, Yurtiçi is not among the carriers Shopify updates automatically. For “out for delivery” and “delivered” to show on the order, the integration has to send these statuses to Shopify as fulfillment events.
How do Yurtiçi Kargo’s e-commerce services affect the integration?
Three of Yurtiçi Kargo’s e-commerce services directly define the integration’s scope: cash on delivery, Kolay İade and 24-hour delivery on selected routes. Whichever service you use, the integration has to carry that service’s data too.
Tahsilatlı Gönderi (cash on delivery): The courier collects the product value at the door in cash or by credit card. According to Yurtiçi, cash collections are transferred to the seller’s account within 3 business days of delivery after financial checks, while card payments go to the seller’s bank account at the moment of delivery. The amount and installment details are sent to Yurtiçi through web integration or Self Servis (Yurtiçi Kargo Tahsilatlı Gönderi).
Card installments at the door: Card payment at the door runs in partnership with Türkiye İş Bankası; İş Bankası cards can pay in installments, other cards in a single payment. The installment count cannot be entered manually at the door, so the integration must pass the customer’s installment choice from the order to Yurtiçi.
Kolay İade: Available to e-commerce sites that have signed a Kolay İade agreement with Yurtiçi. The customer drops the item with a return code at a branch, a smart parcel locker or one of more than 2,000 drop-off points across Turkey.
YK Plus 24: Yurtiçi offers a service that cuts delivery time from 48 to 24 hours on routes between Istanbul and Gaziantep, Erzurum, Diyarbakır, Malatya and Trabzon. Brands selling heavily into these provinces can treat it as a separate delivery promise.
Yurtiçi Kargo was founded in 1982, operates within Arıkanlı Holding and serves all 81 provinces and Northern Cyprus; by its own figures it runs 33 transfer centers, more than 1,200 units and more than 6,000 vehicles.
How should cash on delivery and returns be set up in Shopify?
With cash on delivery, the Shopify order is created with a “pending” payment status and is marked as paid once Yurtiçi’s collection reaches your account; with returns, Yurtiçi’s return shipment is linked to the return record in Shopify. If these two flows are not set up correctly, accounting and stock reports start to drift in the first month.
Separating payment methods: In Shopify, cash on delivery is defined as a manual payment method and the order is created as pending (Shopify manual payment methods). Creating two separate manual methods for cash at the door and card at the door makes it easier for the integration to send the correct collection type to Yurtiçi.
Collection reconciliation: Since cash collections reach your account a few business days later, marking the order as paid should be tied to Yurtiçi’s collection report; automatically marking it paid at delivery causes accounting problems.
Undeliverable cash on delivery orders: When a shipment cannot reach the recipient or is refused and comes back, the order should be cancelled in Shopify and the stock restocked.
Return code generation: If you have a Kolay İade agreement, the return code can be sent to the customer automatically. In high-return categories such as apparel, we recommend designing this flow together with strategies that reduce return rates.
Yurtiçi Kargo Shopify integration methods
An App Store app is the right choice for a standard flow, an aggregator platform for those working with several carriers, and a custom integration on Yurtiçi’s web services for special needs such as card installments at the door, multiple warehouses and an ERP connection.
Method | When to choose | Setup time | Cash on delivery and returns | Ongoing cost |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Yurtiçi Kargo app from the App Store | Single warehouse, standard flow | 1–3 days | Varies by app | Monthly subscription |
Shipping aggregator platform | Several carriers | 1–2 weeks | Depends on the aggregator | Per shipment or by agreement |
Custom integration on web services | ERP, multiple warehouses, installment cash on delivery | 3–6 weeks | Full control | Hosting and maintenance |
There are several apps for Yurtiçi on the App Store; for example, the Yurtiçi Kargo Entegrasyonu Pax app offers label printing, tracking number sync, cash on delivery and return shipment tracking, and asks for your Yurtiçi API credentials. If you are evaluating aggregators such as Navlungo, confirm at the quote stage that they support Yurtiçi and how they handle cash on delivery and returns. For brands using Yurtiçi together with an Aras Kargo integration, the rule that decides which carrier an order goes to (region, desi, cash on delivery) must be written upfront.
Yurtiçi Kargo integration step by step: time and cost
One week with a ready-made app, 3–6 weeks with a custom integration; what stretches the timeline most is completing the cash on delivery and Kolay İade agreements separately.
Application and contracts (1–2 weeks): Yurtiçi’s customer application form, meeting the regional sales representative, cash on delivery and Kolay İade agreements, receiving web service credentials.
Shopify preparation (1–3 days): Product weights, box types, separate manual payment methods for cash and card at the door, cleaning up province and district fields.
Setup or development (1 day–3 weeks): Shipment creation, label printing, tracking number and status sync, collection and return flow.
Testing (3–5 days): Prepaid, cash at the door, card installments at the door, multi-parcel orders, cancellation and return scenarios.
Go-live (1 week): Comparing collection reports with Shopify orders daily in the first week.
The main cost drivers: daily shipment volume, share of cash on delivery orders, whether installment cash on delivery is used, number of warehouses and ERP integration. If you are launching a new store, planning the shipping setup during Shopify store setup is cheaper than fixing it later.
6 most common mistakes in Yurtiçi Kargo Shopify integration
Most mistakes in a Yurtiçi integration surface on the collection and returns side, after sales begin.
Combining cash and card at the door in one method: The integration cannot send the correct collection type, and the courier arrives with the wrong information.
Not passing installment data: Promising installments at the door without sending the installment count leads to problems with the customer at the door.
Automatically marking orders as paid at delivery: Cash collections reach your account a few business days later; marking orders paid without reconciliation breaks financial reports.
Changing web service credentials without checking old records: Testing is essential so that old orders are not resent when credentials change.
Promising a return code without a Kolay İade agreement: The return is not accepted when the customer reaches the drop-off point.
Leaving the carrier assignment rule unclear: If several carriers are used and the routing is not rule-based, the warehouse team has to decide on every order.
Yurtiçi Kargo Shopify integration with Byte Digital
In Byte Digital’s analysis of 100 Turkish Shopify stores, we found that 95 of the stores are integrated with carriers such as Aras, Yurtiçi and DHL eCommerce, either directly or through Navlungo, and that cash on delivery is offered by 31% of stores. Since roughly one in three stores offers cash on delivery, collection reconciliation is the most labor-intensive part of shipping integration for many brands.
We choose the right method based on the services in your Yurtiçi contract and make the collection and returns flow consistent between Shopify and accounting.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Shopify app for Yurtiçi Kargo?
Yes. The Shopify App Store has several third-party apps built for Yurtiçi Kargo. They work with the web service credentials of your Yurtiçi contract; they are not official apps published by Yurtiçi itself.
When does Yurtiçi Kargo transfer cash on delivery collections?
According to Yurtiçi, cash collected at the door is transferred to your account within 3 business days of delivery after financial checks. Card payments at the door go to your bank account at the moment of delivery.
Can customers pay in installments by card at the door?
With Yurtiçi’s card-at-the-door collection, İş Bankası cards can pay in installments and other cards in a single payment. Since the installment count cannot be entered at the door, the choice made in Shopify has to be passed to Yurtiçi by the integration.
Does Kolay İade require a separate agreement?
Yes. Kolay İade is a service for e-commerce sites that have signed a Kolay İade agreement with Yurtiçi. After that, customers can drop items with a return code at a branch, parcel locker or drop-off point.
Does Yurtiçi Kargo tracking status update automatically in Shopify?
The tracking number becomes clickable in Shopify, but Shopify does not pull status updates for Yurtiçi itself. For “out for delivery” and “delivered” to appear on the order, the integration has to send these statuses to Shopify.
Can Aras and Yurtiçi be used together in the same Shopify store?
Yes. Many brands use both carriers by region, desi or payment type. This needs a rule that decides which carrier an order goes to and an integration that writes both carriers’ tracking data correctly.
