Takma Takma is one of the brands standing out in the Jewelry & Accessories category with its original design approach. The partnership began in 2026 with the goal of building an e-commerce experience that would showcase the value of the brand's products online in the best possible way. With this in mind, Takma Takma's online store was built from scratch with a vision true to the brand's identity.

Problem
Takma Takma offers a product that is quite different from the familiar categories on the market. Because of this, the brand needed more than just an e-commerce site; it needed an experience that could tell the story of the brand and its products. Alongside an eye-catching, energetic design language that reflects the brand's character, users needed to easily understand what the product is, how it is used and which product is right for them.
Since the brand was still building its digital presence, creating a solid and scalable technical foundation from scratch became a top priority. With most visitors coming from mobile devices, the entire experience also needed to be designed mobile-first.
The brand also had clear and specific requests. It wanted users to be able to personalize products based on their own preferences, build trust through photo and video reviews, easily tell different product features apart, see campaign messaging clearly across the site and get clear guidance on how to apply and remove the products. In addition, the email infrastructure running on a different platform needed to be moved to Omnisend without losing any existing automations or contact data.
Solution
A custom store architecture was built on Shopify for Takma Takma, with a strong visual identity and a focus on interaction. Color, animations and motion content were treated as core parts of the design, creating a more dynamic user experience that stands apart from the classic e-commerce layout. Product pages were designed to preserve visual richness, while the category and collection structure was built to make browsing easy and effortless.
To meet the personalization request, a custom product structure was developed that allows users to customize products based on their preferences. To support purchase decisions, a photo and video review system was set up, making real customer experiences visible on product pages.
To help users easily understand the different product features, the press-on nails were organized by criteria such as product type, shape, length and style. In line with the brand's heavy campaign communication, merchandising structures were created to keep discounts and campaigns visible on the homepage, in product areas and across other touchpoints, so that campaigns reach users naturally as they explore products.
Since the product isn't a familiar category on the market, special attention was also given to the educational experience. Dedicated content pages, video tutorials and guiding sections were created to show users how to apply and remove the products. The entire interface was built with a mobile-first approach, and the cart and checkout steps were simplified to support conversions.
On the email side, the migration process was managed end to end. Existing automations and contact data from the previous platform were transferred to Omnisend's current structure accurately and completely.
Result
With the new infrastructure, Takma Takma now has a fast, user-friendly online store that brings the brand's energetic and eye-catching identity to the digital world. Rather than simply displaying products, the store explains them to users. By combining visual design, animations, campaign communication and educational content, both the brand experience and the clarity of the product were strengthened.
The personalized product structure, photo and video reviews and feature-based product filtering made it easier for users to find the right product and increased their confidence in their purchase decisions. With the mobile-first structure and simplified checkout, the visitor experience became smooth from start to finish.
The Omnisend migration was completed successfully without any loss of existing automations or contact data, allowing the brand's email communication to continue without interruption. The resulting platform was built on a flexible foundation, ready for the new developments the brand will need as it grows.
